My interests are in the development of biophysically inspired computational models of the brain, bridging the gap between fundamental questions in neuroscience and computer simulations.
Currently working in the development of single-cell and network models of the Thalamus, to study the Thalamocortical and Corticothalamic pathways and its functional role in neuronal signal processing of information and behavior.
Also, working in the implementation and characterization of the contribution of HCN channels in a model of Pyramidal tract neurons.
