Currently a Ph.D. Canditade at the State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center (2019-present).
M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the Federal University of São Paulo (2017-2019), B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Vale do Paraíba University (2012-2016) and Visiting Student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (2014).
My interests are in the development of biophysically inspired computational models of the brain, bridging the gap between fundamental questions in neuroscience and computer simulations.
Currently working in the development of a simplified thalamus model, to study the network effects of the cortico-thalamo-cortical loops and its functional role in neuronal signal processing of information and behavior. Also, working in the implementation and characterization of the contribution of HCN channels in a model of Pyramidal tract neurons.
